Iron Age Agriculture Reviewed
The following paper published by the British Council for Archaeology, Group 12 in 1985 was given in January 1984. It is important because it is represented a new venture by BCA. Peter Reynolds was proud to have been invited to start the series. The document gives an extensive view of his work to that time, matched only by his book "Iron Age Farm". It is not as comprehensive as that, of course, but is very fully referenced. Also the book is out of print, whereas this lecture is short enought to present here!!
