The following early paper in Proc. Prehist. Soc,, 1974, Vol. 40, pp 118-31 is important becuse it is the first and fullest description of Reynolds work on the storage of cereal grains in pits, other than his later PhD, which is not publicly accessible.
It also indicates that Experimental Archaeology was not so firmly established in its own right that this paper was published by the Prehistory Society rather than in an archaeology journal!
There is the sad misprint in the title where "Age" of Iron Age has gone missing !!
