The following early paper, that introduced the debate about "construction" ..... as derived froma concept .... as opposed to "reconstruction", inevitably based on something substantial in the archeological record, was based on the first large roundhouse built at the Demonstration Area [BAFDA] at the Queen Elizabeth Country Park.
It was in British Archaeology Jan/Feb 1989 pp 34-37.
The full description of the first outcomes of this experimental project were given in a Monograph "Experimental Reconstruction" published by Edinburgh University in 1993.
