The following reprint, recently found amongst Peter Reynold's papers, is believed to be his personal offprint from the publishers.
It is given here,as a historic record and for research and education, since it provides a good overview of the range of results and areas of studies in the first eight years of the Project's existence. The amount of information and depth of discussion equals that in his hard to find book "The Iron Age Farm". It is also well illustrated. Any use should be appropriately attributed to the original source.
