This short item was published by the CBA in "Archaeology for Britain"1982 pp 38-41 and summarises the progress from setting up the Butser Ancient Farm Project in 1972 until that time. Soon after the Farm was functioning, the CBA instituted the BAF Project Trust, a charitable body, to oversee their interest in its progress. Peter Reynolds gave annual reports to this Trust, though they were much lengthier than below and included budgetary information and plans for the future, as well as reports on the progress of each programme. Copies of most of these are deposited at the Hampshire Record Office, UK.
Although not attributed, because of the style and experimental detail, this item is almost certainly authored by Peter Reynolds or abstracted directly from his writings.
